For roofs, balconies, terraces, and concrete surfaces, the drainage path beneath the turf is particularly important. A turf product with good surface permeability cannot solve a drainage problem in the underlying substrate.

How Can Wrinkling Be Prevented During Hot Weather?

During periods of extreme heat:

• Avoid unnecessary heavy loads on the turf.
• Do not drag heavy furniture across the surface.
• Inspect seams and perimeter edges regularly.
• Remove standing water and debris.
• Avoid aggressive mechanical brushing when the surface is extremely hot.
• Follow the manufacturer’s recommended maintenance procedures.

Water can temporarily reduce surface temperature, but regular watering should not be treated as the primary solution to dimensional instability.

The better approach is to use dimensionally stable turf and correct installation methods from the beginning.
